Leaving room for text
This illustration was used for the cover of the TV Times. As with many illustrations I have done, I have to make sure there is room for the magazine designer to place the text. I'm usaual sent a rough of the page or cover design as a guide. In this case the cul-de-sac and sky had little detail.
